Illustrating Nature: How to Build a Career in Scientific Illustration
When most artists are asked about scientific illustration, they say, “I could never do that! It’s so detailed and precise!” or they think it’s just pictures in a textbook.
But really, it goes far beyond textbook drawings – it can be anything from animation, to comics, to sculpture, to infographics, and more. And, as Bricelyn Strauch will reveal, it’s a completely learnable skill, just like any other art discipline.
In this presentation, Bricelyn will talk about…
>> the discipline of scientific illustration
>> the type of work and jobs are available to these artists
>> the pathway to making it a career (yes, you can draw bugs for money!)
Afterwards, she’ll stick around to share her expertise on a range of topics; from 3D software to time management.
**RSVP for this free event by clicking “Going!” above.
