Cubism Still Life Flowers – Family Friendly
March 13 @ 3:30 pm - 6:00 pmFree
Learn about Cubism and the artist who started it all, Pablo Picasso. Cubism is an early 20th-century style and movement in art, especially painting, in which perspective with a single viewpoint was abandoned and use was made of simple geometric shapes, interlocking planes, and, later, collage. We will be studying shapes of flowers, combining geometric shapes and planes, using oil pastels to create our own Cubism-inspired still life of flowers.
